This project involved building a bespoke PHP system that could be accessed in the back office or by iPhone on the road. Its implementation resulted in huge time savings. The system itself allows new job sheets to be created by the electrician as soon as he finishes a callout. This appears in real-time in the back office allowing the owner to convert it to a PDF invoice and email it. It also provides job and invoice tracking and integrates into the existing and longstanding accounting software package (Big Red Book).
This project involved building Simplify I.T.’s first customer relationship management system (CRM) that allowed the Orafol staff, based throughout Europe, to input, manage and report on all their leads and customers (in real time) via a user-friendly CRM that we custom-designed. It also contains Microsoft Outlook calendar integration, allows newsletters to be built and analysed with open/click-through statistics and can be accessed on-the-road using a Smartphone.
