In a project that was not a typical one, Simplify I.T. showed its versatility by installing 4 new computers and a server in the Crystal Sports & Leisure Centre. With the facility open from 6am to 10pm, a detailed implementation plan was required in order to minimise disruption. The migration included the usual files and folders along with Sage, Quick Books, backups, membership system and point-of-sale equipment.
The Waterford Crystal Sports & Leisure Centre project had numerous phases and demonstrates Simplify I.T.’s full variety of skills. Phase one involved setting up all the hardware in a client/server configuration as well as email. Phase two involved building a point-of-sale/membership system with barcode scanning, receipt printing and cash drawer functionality. Phase three required a clocking system while phase four involved the creation of the website with Facebook integration.
